Caring For Your Legs
The legs are very important to make moving around easier. Imagine yourself without them, for sure life will be more difficult and all you got is will power to move around physically or a set of wheels to act as your legs. Of course the feet are important too but the gravity of loss of feet over loss of feet and legs are far different. So if you still have your legs and feet, be very grateful and take care of them.
Having leg cramps and heaviness while walking or climbing the stairs may not be the legs’ fault at all. When it lacks oxygen due to fats clogging limiting the blood flow, the risk of heart attack and stroke is very likely. Peripheral Arterial Disease or PAD can be detected early and be treated as well. The risk increases when you smoke, have diabetes or high blood pressure. On the outside, you can prevent your skin to dry with enough moisturizer and putting on wool tights especially during cold winter nights. Firm ones can also tighten the legs and lessen the chance of varicose veins. Do not wet your feet when you just took off your shoes. Relax awhile and put your feet up often.
