In America or in other continents where there are Caucasians, we know that they have great beaches because a lot of them would like to get a nice tan. It seems that they are trying so hard to do away with their white skin. If not outdoors, they go inside a chamber where they can get artificial tan. Those who are not exposed to the sun are considered unhealthy.

But for Filipinos, it is the “in” thing to become white. While tanning machines and cheap tanning lotion would sell where Caucasians live, my countrymen run after whitening products. It is a bane in this country if you have dark skin. Honestly, I do not really care. I have rather fair complexion and I am fine with it. But if I were dark, I dunno, I guess I would still be pretty so there is nothing to fret. haha Talk about boastfulness. Naah…I guess I just want to say that it is still better to be content with whatever skin we are in. Unless of course we have skin problems that need to be treated. Otherwise, it is cool to remain how we are.

I am constantly looking for ways to augment our family income, which is pretty much my income. But it’s okay, for the sake of my kids, I constantly have the desire to work and make more money. We have growing needs that have to be met and it would not suffice if I just sit in the corner and sulk.

Since I tinker with the computer and online jobs very often (as in like almost 24 hours), I think that a good business for me would be related to websites. I think it would be nice to start a directory submission service. I know that there are already many free directories online but well, there are many new websites being made each day so I think that customers will not run out. I already have a theme for it but I will not make announcements yet until I am ready to launch the new site. Weeeee! I am so excited with this new venture!

There are people in my life that I may consider “thorns in my flesh” like what the Bible says. I believe it was the apostle Paul who said that and he is exercising the grace that God has given him in order to be gracious to these kinds of people.

Ack! But there are really very irritating people who I would want to get rid of, much as I would want to get rid of acne. Thankfully, I have no pimples because it is really irritating to see a red bump on my face. Alright, I may be ranting. It is just that I have come across some difficult people lately and I sometimes think, c’mon, I don’t need this kind of treatment. I don’t expect special treatment either. I just want to be treated fair and square without judgments. But I guess well, I will just have to accept these kinds of people and be gracious to them.
